Upon arrival, transfer approximately 40 minutes to the Rising Star site, excavated by renowned paleoanthropologist and National Geographic Explorer Lee Berger. As a research professor in the Evolutionary Studies Institute at the University of Witwatersrand, Lee has made what has been hailed as the most important archaeological discoveries in recent history—two new species of human ancestors.
After our visit to the Rising Star site, we return to the Johannesburg airport for our private jet flight to Namibia.
