March 11th - Kigali, Rwanda — 24901 miles around

After breakfast at our lodges, we check out and return to Kigali. Upon arriving in Kigali, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant along with a presentation by the Akilah Institute for Women, the first leadership institute for women in Rwanda.

Following lunch, visit the the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, a meaningful tribute to those who perished in 1994, built on the site where over 250,000 people are buried. Afterward, transfer to our hotel to check in.

Celebrate our journey this evening with a festive farewell dinner at the Heaven restaurant, accompanied by local entertainment. Our expert team will recap all the places visited and what has been learned on this once-in-a-lifetime expedition.
