February 25th - Ngorongoro Crater

Board charter flights to the Lake Manyara Airstrip. Flight time is approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival, we board our safari vehicles for the scenic drive to our lodge to check in. Lunch is at our lodge, and later this afternoon, visit a local Maasai village and enjoy a traditional dance performance. In the evening, gather for a safari briefing and a lecture presentation by National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Louise Leakey, followed by dinner at the lodge.
