Day 19: Petra, Jordan

After breakfast, we transfer back to the Seronera Airstrip, enjoying a game drive as we go, before connecting to our short charter flight to Kilimanjaro. We then board our plane for our flight to Aqaba, Jordan. We will be in air approximately 6.5 hours today.

Morning safari to the Seronera Airport.  We spotted these Wart Hogs.  They are extremely fast and not so cute.

The male wart hog leads his harem off to safety by not only moving swiftly, but also signaling with his upright tail for them to follow.

Upon arrival, we clear Jordanian entrance formalities and drive approximately two hours to the small town of Wadi Mousa. Our hotel is located just across the street from the entrance to the rock-carved rose-red city of Petra where we will begin our exploration tomorrow.
